Thermal-Vac is part of the Inc. 5000 for the Second Year Running

Thermal-Vac is proud to be included in the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing private companies for the second year in a row. The Inc. 5000 recognizes the independent small businesses like Thermal-Vac that are at the forefront of the country’s ongoing renaissance of business innovation.

Thermal-Vac’s CEO Heather Falcone gives the credit for the company’s ongoing success to the company’s team. “We’ve been through a lot over the last few years: Tons of challenging projects, changes at the company and in the economy, and of course COVID. Our team has embraced the challenge. We wouldn’t be growing the way we are without their dedication.”

Thanks to strong demand from the region’s manufacturing and aerospace sectors, Thermal-Vac has grown over the last three years. By methodically expanding its scope of services to keep pace with the evolving needs of the marketplace, Thermal-Vac has pursued a growth strategy grounded in customer service.

COO Sean Driscol says,  “This industry is going through a lot of change. Being included in the Inc. 5000 tells me we’re doing the right thing. Our focus on getting better all the time is paying off for our customers.”

Thermal-Vac began as a vacuum brazing shop dedicated to serving customers who needed an exceptional level of technical skill for their projects. “I don’t think we’d be part of the Inc. 5000 if we’d strayed from who we’ve always been,” Driscol says. Parallels with the company’s beginnings can be found everywhere in the building today. Up until 2011, the company brazed components for the Space Shuttle program, and today it’s working on components for NASA’s new Space Launch System and other cutting-edge aerospace projects.

Growth is always a challenge for a business that serves customers who need their manufacturing partners to comply with exceptionally tight standards. Every growth decision at Thermal-Vac has involved a ton of effort to bring new processes up to technical requirements.

The long-term approach comes at a cost. As Driscol explains, “Until we’ve mastered a process, we don’t offer it to customers. We might take two years figuring out how to get a new piece of equipment integrated into our workflow.” Viewed through this lens, today’s growth reflects many years of careful investment.

Thermal-Vac congratulates all the businesses on this year’s Inc. 5000 list. Interested in finding out more about how we got here? Give us a call. We’re always happy to talk about what we do.
